The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) has recently launched TexasGlampingResorts.com, a new website aimed at enhancing the glamping experience in Texas.
This initiative follows the success of TexasCampgrounds.com, TACO’s travel planning resource.
The new website is designed to highlight a variety of unique glamping accommodations across the state, catering to the growing demand for luxury camping experiences.
Brian Schaeffer, executive director and CEO of TACO, emphasized the need for such a platform.
He noted that Texas park operators have significantly invested in sophisticated glamping accommodations, warranting a dedicated website to showcase these offerings.
TexasGlampingResorts.com not only serves as a directory but also provides a visual glimpse into the resorts with the option for parks to post up to ten photos per listing.
The website features a user-friendly search function, enabling consumers to find glamping resorts by accommodation type and city. This functionality simplifies the process for potential visitors to locate their preferred glamping experience, whether it be in furnished yurts, tipis, safari tents, or fully equipped cabins and cottages.
Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Burleson is among the highlighted destinations on TexasGlampingResorts.com. The resort offers a range of glamping options, including furnished Conestoga wagons, tipis, and unique grain bin cabins. These cabins feature spiral staircases, bunk beds, full kitchens, and bathrooms.
Loyd Park in Grand Prairie also features on the new website. The park offers furnished cabins and yurts, along with the Loyd Park Lodge. The lodge, nestled among majestic oak trees near Joe Pool Lake, provides amenities such as a fully furnished kitchen, a covered porch with rocking chairs, a barbecue grill, a fire pit, and modern entertainment options like big screen TVs and Wi-Fi.
Mystic Quarry in Canyon Lake, another resort listed on the website, is located near the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. It offers a diverse range of accommodations, including furnished cabins, glamping lodges, tiny homes, glamping tents, and tipis, catering to various preferences and needs.
The Retreat RV & Camping Resort in Huffman is featured for its array of furnished covered wagons, bell tents, safari tents, retro-style RVs, and luxury cottages. This variety ensures a unique glamping experience for every visitor.
The Vineyards of Fredericksburg RV Park in Fredericksburg is known for its park models, covered wagons, and the Moscato Cottage. The cottage is a luxurious 3,000-square-foot loft equipped with modern amenities, offering an upscale glamping experience.
The launch of TexasGlampingResorts.com is a strategic move by TACO to bolster the glamping and outdoor hospitality industry in Texas. It provides a centralized platform for campground and glamping owners to showcase their unique accommodations, thereby attracting a broader audience. This initiative not only benefits consumers by offering a wide range of glamping options but also supports the growth and diversification of the outdoor hospitality sector in Texas.
