The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) has made significant announcements as it continues to grow, reflecting the expansion of the state’s outdoor hospitality sector.
With new RV parks and campgrounds opening year-round, TACO ended 2024 with nearly 450 campground members.
As part of its ongoing expansion, TACO is urging potential partners to renew their 2025 Vendor Membership or join now. The deadline to be included in the Annual Vendor Guide is March 1, providing a key opportunity for vendors to showcase their services to Texas campgrounds.
TACO is also rolling out enhanced advertising options for this year. Vendors can now promote their services in the TACO News, Vendor Guide, or online at TACOMembers.com. The newly released 2025 TACO Vendor Media Kit includes updated pricing and sign-up options.
In addition to advertising, TACO is encouraging vendors to exhibit at the upcoming campground operator show, the largest event of its kind in the Southwest.
Dozens of booths have already been reserved, and while the March 1 deadline is fast approaching, TACO officials expect the show to sell out before then. Exhibiting at this event offers vendors a direct way to engage with campground operators and showcase their products and services.
A new initiative for TACO Vendor Members this year involves sending out the ballot for the TACO Vendor of the Year award to their customers.
Each vendor receives a TACO Campground Member List, which includes email addresses for outreach. Vendors are encouraged to ask their campground customers to vote, with the winner set to be announced at the TACO Spring Meeting on April 29-30.
TACO also set a record in 2025, surpassing 100 Vendor Members. With Texas continuing to see growth in the outdoor hospitality market, vendors are presented with an array of marketing opportunities for 2025.
TACO’s expanding membership network and its range of promotional tools provide vendors with the resources they need to succeed in a competitive market.
