Knights of the RV, a new RV park and resort in Plantersville (Texas), is preparing to open with reservations beginning Sept. 15. The development, located north of Magnolia and west of Montgomery, aims to bring new lodging and recreation options to the area.
The property will feature 94 RV sites and four cabins.
Planned amenities include a bar and grill, a dog park, a fishing pond, a washateria, a general store, and golf cart rentals.
“Our family-owned campground is designed for all ages and interests. Whether you’re seeking a royal retreat or simply a fun getaway with family and friends, our unique amenities are sure to create memorable experiences,” the campground’s website indicates.
According to co-owner and marketing manager Megan Bruney, the project will be built in phases, with additional features planned for a later stage.

Phase two will add a swimming pool, splash pad, and pickleball courts to the site.
“This location is up and coming and has a growing demand for lodging options to accommodate festival visitors, winery guests and travelers passing through,” Bruney said, as reported by Community Impact on August 29.
Knights of the RV is positioning the property as both a stop for travelers in transit and a base for longer stays. The mix of RV spaces and cabins is intended to serve different types of visitors.
The Plantersville, Texas, area offers a setting with access to a variety of nearby attractions. Visitors can experience the charm of Bernhardt Winery, enjoy live music at Deep Roots Winery, or immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the Texas Renaissance Festival.

With opportunities for both relaxation and entertainment, the region provides an ideal backdrop for creating lasting memories with family and friends.
A grand opening event is also scheduled for Oct. 25 from noon to 9 p.m. The celebration will include guided tours of the property along with live music.
