As per a report, the Rusk Chamber of Commerce (Texas) has named Rusk KOA Holiday as July’s business of the month.
Rusk KOA Holiday has RV sites, tent sites, cabins, and a teepee. Amenities include WiFi, cable TV, a pavilion, picnic tables, 24-hour laundry and showers, and a store.
Rusk KOA Holiday features long, 50-amp, pull-thru sites that can accommodate large RVs.
On-site recreation includes a walking trail, K9 pet area, children’s playground, pedal bikes, community fire pit, outdoor basketball, and a swimming pool.
Rusk KOA Holiday also hosts special events like reunions, birthday parties, rallies, or any other reason for friends and family members to gather.
The campground is equipped with a climate-controlled clubroom that can accommodate 60 banquet-style. The room has a fully-equipped refrigerator with a stove, sinks, and microwave for potluck dinners.
Situated on one of the highest points in Cherokee County, the campground offers breathtaking sunset views from a tranquil, serene nature park.
Campers can enjoy a ride on the Texas State Railroad’s steam train through the scenic Piney Woods area, a drive-through safari park, or the area’s wineries, antique shops, restaurants, and more.
