Knights of the RV has officially opened its flagship RV Park and Resort in Plantersville, Texas, marking a new entry into the state’s competitive outdoor hospitality sector.
Located at 10494 Glass Road in Grimes County, the property introduces a full-service destination designed to blend modern amenities with a community-driven atmosphere.
The resort features 94 full-service RV sites and four modern cabins, providing options for both short-term visitors and extended-stay travelers.
Knights of the RV is positioning itself as more than a campground.
“Our goal is to create a destination that offers much more than a place to stay,” Clint Bruney, CEO and president of Knights of the RV, said in a press release. “This is a community-driven resort designed to help families and travelers make lasting memories.”
Guests now have access to a variety of amenities including a stocked fishing pond, a petting zoo, shaded pavilions, and tent sites.
The property also offers updated shower facilities and landscaped common areas to support a family- and pet-friendly environment.
Dining is set to become a central feature of the guest experience through Knights Tavern, an on-site food and beverage hub.
According to the company, the venue will serve comfort food alongside beer, cocktails, and locally sourced wines from Texas wineries.
Operational services include propane refills, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, and a staffed reception desk.
The resort also features a dog park and other conveniences to provide what operators describe as a seamless guest experience.
Programming is another focus, with Knights of the RV planning to host themed celebrations and community events in collaboration with local businesses and college sports organizations.
The resort is also emphasizing sustainability, implementing its Peak Energy Savers system to reduce environmental impact while maintaining guest comfort.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for October 25, to mark the official debut. The event will feature guided tours, live music from Mark Jones, Donnie Cathey, and Stevin Marsh, as well as food, family-friendly activities, vendors, and early booking promotions.
Children’s attractions such as bounce houses, train rides, and the petting zoo will also be part of the day’s festivities.
