Recreational areas in Lake O’ the Pines in Texas are temporarily closed during park renovations, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced.
Affected areas are Alley Creek Campground, Brushy Creek Campground, Buckhorn Creek Campground, Johnson Creek Campground and Day Use, and the Overlook boat ramp.
While renovations started on May 24, the anticipated effects on the areas will be infrequent, according to the Corps of Engineers.
Apart from the recreation areas, there will also be temporary road closures throughout renovations. However, the Corps said that temporary road closures will only be minimal.
