Lagoon Ranch Luxury RV & Cabin Resort in Texas will host its Labor Day weekend celebration beginning Thursday, August 28, and continuing through Monday, September 1.
The resort is preparing a lineup of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and community events designed to appeal to visitors of all ages.
The festivities will open Thursday with a watch party featuring the Houston Astros versus the Colorado Rockies. Friday’s schedule will also feature a family dance party in the evening and another Astros matchup, this time against the Anaheim Angels
“Whether you’re here to unwind or jump into the action, there’s something for everyone. Come celebrate the holiday with us!” the resort indicates in a Facebook post.
Saturday will bring a mix of pet-friendly and creative offerings, starting with “Pup Cup + Puppy Puddle Time Social,” a gathering for dog owners and their pets.
Later, children and adults will take part in rock painting before joining the Slow Roll Bike Parade around the property.
Sunday’s events will also showcase arts and recreation. Guests can take part in a tie-dye activity in the morning, enjoy a poolside popsicle party in the afternoon, and join water games before settling in for a dive-in movie featuring The Blind Side at the resort’s pool area.
The celebration will conclude Monday, September 1, with a community breakfast at Pit Stop Pit Row on the Lake.
Labor Day weekend is traditionally one of the busiest travel periods in the United States, with millions of people seeking short-term leisure trips before the end of summer.
