Vista Recreation announces the reopening of Skull Island Campground (Tennessee) after years of closure due to maintenance issues.

As per a report, Skull Island has undergone a complete renovation and will now have power and water electricity for campers at each of the 68 campsites.
Other campground amenities include a fully refurbished bathroom and shower facilities and a Camp Store, which allows visitors to buy camping supplies and souvenirs.
According to its website, the campground offers 68 sites with 50, 30, and 110 amp service, with waterfront and non-waterfront campsites.

The campground has two different bathroom buildings; one of which is a conventional campground restroom with showers; the other has 4 individual family-style bathrooms and includes showers.
“After a nearly 5-year closure, campers have been at the gate asking about our reopening date for the past several months,” said Leland Willis, Construction Services manager for Vista Recreation and the team leader for the renovation and expansion at Skull Island on Lake Chickamauga.
The campground features a nearby boat launch ramp, a swimming beach, and newly-installed tents and RV site pads.

Skull Island Campground is partially opening Sunday, and reservations are now available at https://reservations.camprrm.com.
We are delighted to once again be able to serve the local community with great lakefront camping facilities at Skull Island,” said Warren Meyer, president, and CEO of Vista Recreation.
