Tauck, a Connecticut-based tour operator known for guided land journeys and river cruises, announced it will expand its North American land tour offerings in 2026, with several new itineraries that include outdoor-focused accommodations such as glamping.
This marks the first time the company will incorporate glamping into its itineraries.
Among the newly introduced tours is Paradise Valley, Yellowstone & the Tetons, an eight-day trip that begins in Montana’s Paradise Valley and concludes in Grand Teton National Park.
Guests on this itinerary will stay two nights at Under Canvas West Yellowstone, a safari-style glamping site located near Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance.
According to Travel Weekly, the company is also expanding its family travel offerings with the Wild, Wild West Family Adventure, an eight-day itinerary that includes a three-night stay at ULUM Moab in Utah.
This upscale outdoor resort features suite-style tents equipped with king-size beds, heated mattress pads, and Parachute-brand linens. Tauck’s family-focused itineraries are designed to be multigenerational and activity-rich.
In addition, Tauck will return to Mesa Verde National Park for the first time in over a decade with a new nine-day tour called Western Horizons: Mesa Verde to Moab.
The itinerary includes a one-night stay at Far View Lodge inside the park, a ride on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and time at Durango’s hot springs.
Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh stated, “For 2026, we’re thrilled to raise the bar and feature some truly fun and unique accommodations to help our guests connect more deeply to the places we visit.”
Beyond the western U.S., Tauck will also introduce international itineraries, including an eight-day tour of Mexico City and Oaxaca. Highlights of that trip include a private visit to Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, Teotihuacan’s pyramids, and the floating gardens of Xochimilco.
A new eight-day Canadian itinerary, A Week In … Nova Scotia, will include stops in Lunenburg and Baddeck, along with a whale-watching cruise in the Bay of Fundy.
In total, Tauck will operate 29 North American itineraries in 2026, including four family-focused trips. The company is also expanding its Small Group journeys, averaging 24 guests, and its Even Smaller Group trips, which include an average of 15 travelers.
For owners and operators in the outdoor hospitality industry, Tauck’s adoption of glamping accommodations into high-end itineraries indicates growing demand for luxury outdoor experiences.
Glamping providers near national parks or natural attractions may see increased interest from tour operators seeking to enhance their offerings with premium, immersive stays.
