Champion Homes, a company producing factory-built housing in North America with a portfolio of manufactured and modular homes, ADUs, park-models and modular, revealed that Skyline Homes, part of its Family of Champion Homes Brands, has been named America’s Most Trusted Manufactured Home Builder for the sixth consecutive year, 2021 through 2026, reflecting enduring consumer confidence in the company’s portfolio.
The announcement also highlighted that Champion Homes and Genesis Homes ranked second and third, completing a sweep of the top three positions in Lifestory Research’s annual survey of 47,774 home shoppers.
Skyline Homes earned the highest Net Trust Quotient Score of 106.8 in 2026, up from 98.4 in 2025. Champion Homes scored 106.1, rising from 97.5, while Genesis Homes, the builder-developer brand within Champion, received 105.7, up from 97.8 last year.
The survey measures consumer perceptions of trust, product quality, and likelihood to recommend among the ten largest manufactured home builders in the United States.
According to a press release, Tim Larson, president and chief executive officer of Champion Homes, said the recognition reflects the company’s commitment to building “durable, attainable homes while providing the best-in-class customer experience.”
He called the award “a testament to the portfolio’s reputation for quality and reliability in a dynamic housing market.”
Lifestory Research, which conducts the America’s Most Trusted study, emphasized the long-term value of brand trust in the home-building sector.
“Once home buyers place their trust in a builder, that trust becomes a lasting competitive advantage that meaningfully influences brand strength and buyer consideration,” the firm said.
The survey, the longest-running independent research program of its kind, gathers anonymous consumer feedback on brands encountered while shopping for manufactured homes. Respondents evaluated factors including overall trust, product quality, and willingness to recommend the brand to others.
