The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has opened registration for its Level 3 Appliance specialty course, a three-day workshop running from December 4 to December 6, in Elkhart, Indiana. Tailored for Level 2 certified technicians aiming to elevate their skills, the course provides hours of in-depth training on essential RV appliances, including furnaces, refrigerators, air conditioners, and water heaters.
This intensive workshop offers RV technicians the opportunity to advance their certification, expanding their technical knowledge and skills specific to RV appliances, a vital area of expertise in the industry. Designed for technicians who have already obtained a Level 2 certification, this course prepares attendees to meet the Level 3 certification standards in appliance maintenance and repair.
According to News and Insights of RVIA, the three-day course includes a total of 26 hours of specialized training focused on a variety of essential RV appliances.
The Level 3 Appliance workshop is part of RVTI’s broader effort to enhance industry standards and ensure technicians are equipped with advanced skills. With the support of key industry players like Dometic, Furrion, Girard, and Aqua-Hot, the training is set to provide both technical depth and real-world applications.
As the last of RVTI’s 2024 Level 3 training workshops, this event concludes the year’s series aimed at technicians dedicated to advancing their professional competencies. Technicians who complete all five specialty workshops, including this appliance course, will be eligible to earn their Level 4 Master Certification.
Enrollment in the workshop is $75, a fee that is non-refundable for those who do not meet the prerequisite Level 2 certification.
