The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) is still accepting applications for the Kevin Phillips Scholarship until October 31. It is open to anyone interested in the skilled trades and considering the RV technician career path.
RVTI has awarded nine scholarships covering the cost of RV technician training for people new to the RV industry, including recent high school graduates, people leaving the military, or those who tried college and found it wasn’t for them, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association.
“The Kevin Phillips Scholarship is a great opportunity to receive gold-standard technician training and certification at no cost,” said RVTI Executive Director Curt Hemmeler.
“As we continue our year of recruitment, we’re excited to have awarded this opportunity to nine individuals and look forward to sharing this opportunity with even more recipients as we continue to spread the word about the RV technician career path.”
Hemmeler said the scholarship is an excellent chance to engage with interested individuals and bring new people into the RV industry, particularly those interested in an alternative to a four-year college degree.
RVTI is the gold standard for RV technician training, providing the only industry-backed training curriculum and RV technician certification and career path.
