As it focused heavily on recruitment this year, the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has added a new account specialist to its team, according to a News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).
Halle Edmister, RVTI’s new account specialist, will help recruit 1,000 new RV technicians into the industry in 2022.
Halle previously gained experience in the RV industry at Furrion and has been a member of the RV Women’s Alliance since March 2020.
As an account specialist, Edmister will work with dealer relations, attend recruitment events, and manage the Institute’s LMS system.
She believes that communicating is an essential part of her job. “I’m a very outgoing person,” she said. “I love meeting new people and talking with them. I enjoy learning their stories and learning about the industry.”
The newest team member looks forward to learning more about the RV industry and having the opportunity to travel to different locations around the country. She is also excited about professional growth opportunities and looks forward to seeing the Institute’s expansion as it works towards its goals.
“I’m excited and ready to help where I can,” she adds. “I’m really looking forward to working with the team.”
RVTI’s goal is to provide world-class RV maintenance and repair training that will raise the number of trained RV technicians available to cater to millions of RVs on the road.
