RV Technical Institute (RVTI) announced its technician training programs throughout April 2024, providing opportunities to enhance knowledge about the recreational vehicle (RV) industry and repair.
Recognized for its comprehensive, hands-on approach, the RVTI’s training is developed in collaboration with experts across the RV sector, including suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, and independent technicians. According to a press release, this ensures a curriculum that meets the industry’s high standards and equips technicians with the necessary skills and career paths.
In April, the institute will conduct several sessions of its in-person Level 1 and Level 2 classes. These classes are scheduled as follows: Level 1 training will take place from April 1 to April 5, and again from April 8 to April 12, with an additional session from April 22 to April 26. For more advanced training, Level 2 classes are available from April 8 to April 26, and another session from April 29 to May 17. All classes will be held at the RVTI Campus in Elkhart, Indiana.
To make this training accessible, RVTI has introduced a subscription model. This model allows RV dealerships to train all their technicians for $1,500 per dealership location. For individuals, including mobile technicians or those looking to enter the field, the subscription is priced at $600 per year.
The RV Technical Institute collaborates closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and top RV experts to offer educational programs. This initiative leverages extensive industry experience and knowledge. The curriculum is designed to prepare technicians for the evolving demands of RV maintenance and repair, equipping them with the skills needed to handle RV vehicles.
In response to the growing need for skilled technicians capable of reducing repair event cycle times for RV owners, the Institute has developed training with a diverse group of subject matter experts.
Enrollment in in-person classes requires a subscription purchase, with further details available in the FAQ section. Availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis, and expressing interest in a class does not secure admission.
