RVnGO has launched its own insurance company to provide auto-liability and property damage coverage for RV rentals booked on its platform, RVnGO.com.
“This is the most significant development for RVnGO in the last five years. We now provide coverage under our own insurance program, it is the completion of our vision for the business that has been years in the making,” Paul Kacir, founder and CEO of RVnGO, said in a press release.
The move positions it to deliver more cost-effective rental experiences for customers while streamlining claims for vehicle owners. Under the new captive insurance program, RV renters receive coverage directly through RVnGO.
For guests, RVnGO said the program reduces rental costs by eliminating the additional fees charged by competing platforms. The company does not collect a percentage of the rental price from renters or hosts, which it says results in prices up to half that of other services.
According to RVnGO, the integrated insurance model offers peace of mind for renters by ensuring support is available if an incident occurs during their trip. The coverage includes both auto-liability and property damage protection for all bookings on the site.
“The new program keeps rental costs lower, with RVnGO launching its own insurance company providing auto-liability and property damage coverage for RV rentals booked on RVnGO,” the company indicates.
RV owners, or “hosts,” will see changes in how claims are handled. “For the RV owners (Hosts), who rent their RV on RVnGO this means a more streamlined insurance claims process, with faster responses and repair approval if the RV is damaged during the rental,” the press release adds.
According to its website, RVnGO offers a wide range of options to meet different travel needs, including ADA-compliant, wheelchair-accessible RVs and pet-friendly models.
Travelers can select from one-way rentals, round-trip rentals, or RVs and trailers that can be delivered directly to a specified location.
In addition to convenience and variety, RVnGO commits to planting a tree in the U.S. for every RV booked, contributing to environmental sustainability.
