RVIA Projects 2026 RV Wholesale Shipments Between 328,800 and 367,000 Units

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) projects 2026 RV wholesale shipments will reach the mid-300,000-unit range, according to the Spring 2026 edition of its quarterly RV RoadSigns forecast prepared by ITR Economics.

The forecast expects total shipments in 2026 to range between 328,800 and 367,000 units, with a median projection of 349,000 units. The outlook maintains earlier expectations and signals continued year-over-year growth for the RV sector.

If realized, the projection would build on the 342,200 units shipped in 2025 and mark the third consecutive year of growth for the industry.

The association said the near-term performance reflects improving economic conditions and stabilizing RV market dynamics.

“RV shipments are expected to continue showing steady progress this year, building on the 342,200 units shipped in 2025 and marking a third consecutive year of growth for the industry,” Craig Kirby, president and CEO of RVIA, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA on March 3.

“The near-term outlook is supported by improving economic fundamentals and stabilizing RV market conditions with momentum building in the second half of the year to position the industry for more durable future growth,” Kirby added.

The quarterly RV RoadSigns report provides forward-looking shipment projections and economic analysis for manufacturers, suppliers and other industry stakeholders.

The Spring 2026 edition continues to reflect moderate expansion rather than rapid acceleration, based on current market indicators.

RVIA will also host a webinar with ITR Economics to provide additional context and analysis of the forecast.

“The RV Industry Association regularly hosts educational and informational webinars on a wide range of topics from in-depth reviews of wholesale shipment projections, insights into consumer demographic data, updates on federal and state policy positions and more,” the announcement indicates.

The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. Eastern and will offer an in-depth explanation of the updated projections and underlying economic assumptions.

“During the 60-minute webinar, participants will hear an in-depth explanation of the new forecast, including supporting evidence and risks. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions. The webinar is available exclusively for RV Industry Association members,” the event’s details state.
