RVIA Invites Member Employees to Join Workplace Safety Committee

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) is calling on members of its affiliated companies to join its Workplace Safety Committee, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a culture of safety across the recreational vehicle sector.

The committee, which plays a key role in shaping and promoting workplace safety practices within the industry, is open to anyone employed by an RVIA member company.

The goal is to bring together a diverse group of individuals committed to protecting employees and improving safety outcomes.

“Improving workplace safety is a forever goal, and we believe that robust conversations and information sharing are key to achieving it,” the association states in a News and Insights report of RVIA on July 2.

The next in-person meeting of the Workplace Safety Committee is scheduled for Monday, August 19, in Elkhart, Indiana. The gathering will provide a forum for new and existing members to exchange ideas and align on safety initiatives.

“We invite you to be part of these critical discussions…If you’re interested in serving on the committee and contributing to a safer future for the RV industry, please reach out to staff liaison Monika Geraci at [email protected],” the announcement indicates.

According to its website, RVIA also monitors compliance with industry-approved standards by conducting unannounced inspections at member RV manufacturing plants.

As the recognized authority on RV industry trends and consumer behavior, RVIA provides members with research and data that inform strategic decision-making. The association works closely with lawmakers and regulatory agencies at both the federal and state levels to advocate for policies that support industry growth and create a favorable business climate.

RVIA also continues to grow the RV consumer market through the Go RVing campaign, which promotes the benefits of RV travel and encourages new consumer engagement while enhancing the experience for existing RVers.
