The session, titled “Emerging Threats to the RV Dealership Landscape,” aims to equip attendees with practical strategies to enhance data security and operational resilience.
As RV dealerships increasingly depend on digital systems to manage inventory, sales, service, and customer data, cyber risks have grown in both frequency and complexity.
The integration of dealer management systems (DMS) and cloud-based platforms has made dealerships more efficient but also more vulnerable to breaches and ransomware attacks.
Recent cyber incidents affecting DMS providers and a major global automaker have underscored how digital supply chain vulnerabilities can cause widespread operational and financial disruption. These events highlight the need for stronger security frameworks across the dealership ecosystem.
The upcoming session will address lessons learned from those incidents and provide an overview of how weaknesses in dealership cybersecurity systems can cascade across manufacturers, service partners, and financial networks.
