RV Women’s Alliance Unveils Charitable Foundation to Support Women in RV Industry

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) has announced the establishment of the RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization aimed at advancing the Alliance’s mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry.

The foundation’s primary objective is to expand opportunities for women, offering resources and support in key areas such as career advancement, leadership development, and education.

The foundation will provide a variety of programs, including workshops, training sessions, and online resources designed to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Additionally, it will offer scholarships for women pursuing careers in the RV industry, mentorship opportunities connecting experienced professionals with newcomers, and leadership development programs aimed at cultivating future female leaders in the sector.

According to a News and Insights report from RVIA, Tracy Anglemeyer, chair-elect of the RV Women’s Alliance Board and an executive at Thetford, will lead the Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The Board includes prominent members from across the RV industry, such as Chad Reece from Winnebago as treasurer; Monika Geraci from the RV Industry Association (RVIA) as secretary; Alexis Donati from Nexus RV; and Megan Neighbors from Campers Inn.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the foundation offers tax-deductible benefits to donors, giving them a meaningful way to contribute to a more diverse and inclusive RV community.

The funds raised will directly support the foundation’s programs, ensuring that women have the necessary resources to thrive in the RV industry.

“The RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation marks a pivotal moment in our journey to empower women in the RV industry,” Susan Carpenter, president of RVWA, said.

“We invite businesses, partners, and individuals who share our passion for diversity and inclusion to join us in supporting this important initiative,” Carpenter added.

In addition to individual donations, the foundation will actively seek out grant opportunities to expand its programs and increase its impact.

These grants will help fund the development of even more comprehensive initiatives, such as additional educational content, mentorship programs, and leadership training, thereby supporting women in all sectors of the RV industry.
