RV Women’s Alliance Honors Industry Leaders at Annual Awards Event

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) celebrated leaders advancing women’s roles in the RV industry during its annual awards ceremony on Thursday, October 16, capping two days of education and networking hosted by the RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation.

Awards were presented in four categories: Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement, Leader of Tomorrow Award, Champion of Women—Individual, and Champion of Women—Company.

“The RV Women’s Alliance is proud to honor the remarkable women, men, and companies who are making a difference in our industry. By celebrating these champions, we’re building a brighter future where women can thrive,” Jennet Lewis, RV Women’s Alliance board chair-elect and awards task force lead, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA on October 17.

“Their leadership and dedication are an inspiration to us all,” Lewis added.

The evening’s top honor, the Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement, went to Jennifer Zachary, owner and president of Transport US. The award recognizes individuals who have significantly advanced the RV industry while opening doors for others.

“Jennifer’s impact extends far beyond her own achievements,” Lewis said. “She has not only reached incredible heights in her career but also paved the way for countless women in the RV industry. That’s true leadership.”

The Leader of Tomorrow Award was also presented to Campers Inn RV’s Devyn Cady, recognized for her early-career accomplishments and leadership potential.

Starting as a receptionist, Cady advanced to become a production manager and RVTI Level 1 certified technician. Her efforts to improve departmental coordination and mentor new advisors have earned her recognition as a rising leader in the industry.

The Champion of Women—Individual Award was presented to Winnebago Industries’ Brandy Droptiny. As a customer service manager at Winnebago Towables, Droptiny has encouraged women across her team to engage with RVWA and participate in professional development events. Her leadership style emphasizes inclusion and collaboration.

Campers Inn RV was named Champion of Women—Company for its ongoing commitment to empowering women across departments and leadership roles. The company provides financial support for continued education and RV technician training while promoting a culture of openness and mentorship.

A new honor, the Chairperson’s Award for Outstanding Contributions, was introduced this year to acknowledge exceptional service to the organization. Chris Carpenter of Creative Products Group received the inaugural award for his dedication and advocacy within RVWA.

“These awards celebrate the remarkable women and men shaping the RV industry,” said RVWA President Susan Carpenter. “Congratulations to all 16 finalists, and especially to our winners, all of whom exemplify the strength and leadership of our community.”
