The RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation reported a sold-out inaugural Golf Outing held June 20 at Meadow Valley Golf Club, marking a milestone for the organization’s efforts to advance education within the RV industry.
The event attracted over 80 golfers representing various sectors. Participants enjoyed a day of friendly competition, building industry connections while contributing to a cause aimed at empowering women in all corners of the RV community.
“It was wonderful to see so many people come together for our very first golf outing,” Brittany Gingerich, the foundation’s event organizer, said, as reported by a News and Insights report of RVIA.
“Thanks to the overwhelming support from our participants and sponsors, the event sold out, and we are thrilled to direct the funds raised toward vital educational initiatives that empower and advance women in the RV industry,” Gingerich added.
Proceeds from the outing will support programs designed to close workforce gaps and encourage career advancement.
Industry partners showed strong support, with RVTV serving as presenting sponsor, joined by co-sponsors Amerimax and New Paris Speedway. Volunteers, and sponsors also contributed to the event’s success.
Organizers noted that the outing also served as a platform for networking among businesses eager to share best practices and discuss new opportunities to foster workplace equity and career growth.
