In a move that underscores the growing significance of female professionals in the recreational vehicle (RV) industry, the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) has announced the opening of nominations for its annual awards.
The honors will be bestowed on three individuals and a company that exemplifies the alliance’s mission of elevating, educating, and endorsing women in the RV industry.
The Awards Dinner, a centerpiece of the RV Women’s Alliance Education Symposium slated for Tuesday, October 12, will witness the gathering of the industry’s most influential figures. It’s here where the exceptional contributions of women to the RV industry will be acknowledged and celebrated.
As per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association, RVWA President Susan Carpenter captured the anticipation for the upcoming event.
“We’re excited to once again spotlight the extraordinary contributions made by women in our industry. These awards offer a unique opportunity to applaud emerging leaders, established industry icons, and those individuals and companies that champion the cause of women in the RV industry on a daily basis,” she said.
Among previous award winners is Debbie Brunoforte from Campers Inn RV, the inaugural recipient of the Trailblazer Award.
“Being recognized as a Trailblazer was a humbling experience and a testament to the key role that women play in the RV industry. I encourage everyone to nominate deserving individuals and companies, and to get involved with the various industry groups promoting the growth of the RV sector,” she said.
During the ceremony, four distinct awards will be conferred: the Leader of Tomorrow Award, the Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the Champion of Women Award, which will be presented to an individual as well as a company.
The Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement is designed to acknowledge women who have made significant contributions to the RV industry over a minimum of 20 years, setting a strong example for other women in the field to emulate. This is the highest honor that the RV Women’s Alliance can extend to a member.

The Leader of Tomorrow Award, on the other hand, acknowledges the potential of women at the outset of their careers in the RV industry. It recognizes individuals who have made a remarkable impact in the early stages of their careers, spotlighting the promise they hold for the future of the industry.

Finally, the Champion of Women Awards are designed to honor both individuals and companies who exemplify the Alliance’s mission to elevate, educate, and endorse women in the RV industry. These awards celebrate efforts in creating inclusive and supportive work environments.
