RV Technical Institute to Implement New Pricing Structure Starting January 2026

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) will implement new pricing for its training programs and services beginning January 1, 2026. The update includes adjustments to individual and location subscriptions, Authorized Learning Partner contracts, and technician training fees.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on October 30, starting in 2026, an Individual Subscription will cost $663, up from $630. The Location Subscription, which offers broader access for businesses and teams, will rise from $1,575 to $1,650.

The cost for organizations to become an Authorized Learning Partner (ALP) will also increase, moving from $3,150 to $3,300. The ALP program provides full access to the institute’s technician curriculum, course materials, learning management system, initial testing, and ongoing instructor training.

Dealer on-site training fees—listed as the Travel Training Fee—will increase from $3,675 to $3,900. This service enables dealerships to bring certified RVTI instructors directly to their facilities for hands-on instruction.

In addition to the major subscription and training changes, several smaller adjustments will take effect. The retest fee will increase from $80 to $85, while Level 1 and Level 2 textbook sets will cost $221 and $464 respectively, up from $210 and $441.

Other changes include updated pricing for patches, which will now cost $6 instead of $5, and Level 3 workshops, which will increase from $25 per day to $30 per day.

RVTI emphasized that all price changes will take effect on January 1, 2026. However, current and new subscribers can lock in the 2025 rates by registering before the end of this year.

Both Individual and Location Subscriptions provide full access to Level 1 and Level 2 courses and testing, forming the foundation of the Institute’s tiered certification pathway.

RVTI describes its technician training as the RV industry’s “gold standard,” developed through collaboration with manufacturers, suppliers, and leading experts.

Courses are designed to equip technicians with the skills to service both legacy and modern RV systems, addressing the industry’s growing demand for qualified professionals.
