RV Technical Institute Opens Registration for June Level 3 Electrical Workshop in Indiana

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has opened registration for its third 2026 Level 3 workshop, a three-day electrical specialty training program scheduled for June 16-18 at the institute’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana.

According to the institute, the workshop is part of its ongoing Level 3 training series designed for RV technicians seeking advanced instruction in RV systems and components.

The June session will focus on electrical systems and will provide participants with the training hours required to earn a Level 3 Electrical Specialty certification.

The workshop will be held at the RVTI, located at 3333 Middlebury St. in Elkhart. Registration costs $90, and enrollment is limited to 12 participants.

Training during the workshop will include a 16-hour Victron training course conducted by Trek Systems, a four-hour generator training session led by Next-Gen Power Systems and a four-hour REGO system training course presented by Renogy.

The Level 3 training is intended to prepare technicians to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs on RV systems. The organization began hosting standalone Level 3 workshops in 2024 to improve access to specialty training for technicians pursuing higher certification levels.

This year’s workshop series focuses on three of the five Level 3 specialty areas available through the institute. Each workshop is designed to provide all required training hours for a single specialty category.

According to the institute, technicians who complete training in all five specialty areas are eligible to earn Level 4 Master Certification.

The organization also said additional Level 3 courses continue to be offered throughout the year through authorized supplier training programs for technicians unable to attend the Elkhart workshops.

RVTI said all classes in the workshop series will be hosted at its Elkhart training facility.
