RV Tech Week 2026 to Recognize Service Technicians Across North America

RV service technicians will be recognized across North America during RV Tech Week 2026, scheduled for June 1–5, as industry organizations, dealerships, manufacturers, campgrounds, and repair facilities highlight the role technicians play in maintaining and repairing recreational vehicles.

The annual campaign, organized during the first week of June, focuses on raising awareness of careers in the RV service sector while also recognizing the technical work performed by service professionals. This year’s theme, “27 Skills. One RV Tech. Every Adventure.”, emphasizes the broad range of disciplines technicians are expected to handle as RV systems become increasingly advanced.

According to organizers, RV technicians regularly work on electrical systems, plumbing, propane systems, refrigeration, appliances, diagnostics, carpentry, structural repairs, and solar installations, among other areas.

The campaign also seeks to address ongoing workforce needs in the skilled trades by encouraging students, apprentices, and career changers to consider opportunities in the RV industry.

“RV technicians are the people who keep the RV lifestyle moving,” says RVDA of Canada President Eleonore Hamm.

“Their expertise, problem-solving, and dedication help families create unforgettable travel experiences across Canada every day. RV Tech Week is an opportunity to recognize these skilled professionals, celebrate the important work they do behind the scenes, and inspire the next generation to explore careers in this dynamic trade.”

Throughout the week, businesses connected to the RV and outdoor hospitality sectors are being encouraged to participate by sharing technician stories, hosting appreciation events, promoting career opportunities, and posting educational content online and in-store. Consumers are also invited to recognize service technicians through social media posts using the hashtag #RVTechWeek.

Campaign organizers have released promotional graphics, downloadable materials, participation ideas, and social media templates through the RV Tech Week Activation Toolkit and the official RV Tech Week webpage to help businesses coordinate activities during the event.

For campground operators, RV parks, dealerships, and glamping businesses that accommodate RV travelers, the campaign also highlights a broader operational issue facing the industry: the increasing importance of skilled technical labor.

As RVs continue integrating more advanced electrical systems, solar technology, smart controls, and energy management features, access to trained technicians is becoming increasingly important for both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Industry professionals may also view events such as RV Tech Week as an opportunity to strengthen recruitment efforts, develop partnerships with trade schools, and promote long-term workforce development strategies.

RV Tech Week is held annually across North America and serves as both an appreciation campaign and a workforce awareness initiative for the RV service trade.
