Genesis Products has secured an agreement to distribute AeroTek’s composite panels in North America, offering a lightweight alternative to traditional lauan plywood for RV manufacturing. These innovative panels, made from fiberglass and polypropylene, are up to 50 percent lighter than conventional options while maintaining durability according to an article by Surface and Panel. They address the industry’s need for weight reduction to improve fuel efficiency and towing capacity in recreational vehicles.
The AeroTek panels boast high resistance to mold, mildew, rot, and warping, making them suitable for raw and laminated sidewall applications in RV production. Cody Harman, Product Director at Genesis, expressed enthusiasm about the new offering, stating, “We are excited to offer an alternative to lauan plywood panels with AeroTek, a product that directly addresses the evolving needs of our customers.”
Founded in 2002, Genesis Products specializes in decorative laminate components and has extensive experience supplying interior components to major RV brands. The company focuses on custom fit and finish, utilizing a dedicated team for customer support.
In addition to the AeroTek panels, Genesis Products has introduced the REVIVE Collection, an aftermarket line for RV interiors. This collection allows customers to update cabinets, wallboards, and backsplashes, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and design improvement.
