The RV Industry Association (RVIA) has added new manufacturers, suppliers, and aftermarket providers to its membership roster as of September.
The association, representing more than 500 companies that together produce 98% of all RVs manufactured in the United States, said the expansion reflects its ongoing mission to unify the industry around safety, education, and market growth.
Vanture Customs Camper Van, based in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, joined as a manufacturer member. The company builds Class B motorhomes, contributing to a growing segment of the RV industry focused on compact and versatile vehicles.
Another addition in the manufacturer category is Grounded RVs Inc. The Detroit, Michigan-based company also produces Class B motorhomes.
The supplier category saw the addition of Detroit Chassis LLC. Also located in Detroit, the company provides chassis products to RV manufacturers and plays a role in the supply chain that supports the production of motorhomes and trailers.
In the aftermarket supplier category, REDI of Austin, Texas, became the newest member. The company provides roadside emergency accessories.
The RVIA emphasized that new members across different categories strengthen the association’s collective voice. “Join the RV Industry Association today to help drive growth and innovation and become part of our collective work to promote the expansion of the RV industry,” the association said in a News and Insights report of RVIA on October 2.
Membership also connects companies with initiatives in safety standards, education, and advocacy.
According to its website, for 50 years, RVIA has served as a voice of the RV industry, uniting manufacturers, suppliers, and partners under one mission: to strengthen and advance the business of RVing.
By representing the industry as a whole, RVIA works to connect stakeholders, drive growth, and ensure consistent product quality. This includes conducting unannounced inspections at member manufacturing plants to confirm adherence to industry-approved standards, maintaining consumer trust and protecting the integrity of RV products.
Beyond quality assurance, RVIA plays a critical role in shaping the industry’s future. The association leads research on RV trends and consumer behavior, advocates at the federal and state level for favorable policies, and invests in expanding the consumer market through initiatives like the Go RVing campaign.
