“The Regulatory & Safety Compliance Seminar is coming back this summer! The event is designed to assist RV Industry Association members who have safety and recall process responsibilities, are involved in gathering data related to Early Warning Reporting (EWR), or want to learn more about NHTSA and Transport Canada regulations impacting the RV Industry,” the event details indicate.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, the seminar will include panelists with compliance, quality and product safety experience from manufacturers and suppliers throughout the RV sector. The panelists are Mike Becker, Dennis Carl, Troy Cornell, David Mihalick, Michael Nevin, David Stevenson and Pamela VanderMel.

Three panel discussions will be moderated by Von Lindsey, while a separate panel focused on the responsible use of AI in regulatory and safety compliance will be moderated by Nick Woolsey.

The seminar is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at noon in the Crystal Ballroom at the Lerner Theatre. Breakfast will be provided for attendees.

The association said the event is free for members due to sponsorship support from Winnebago Industries, Forest River, THOR Industries, Lippert and Dexter.

Registration for the members-only event is open through July 24. The seminar is intended for industry professionals with compliance or safety responsibilities, as well as individuals seeking information about safety and recall processes.
