RV dealers attending the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo will have the opportunity to learn how RV and boat storage can serve as a revenue stream during a panel session.
The workshop, “Why Diversifying Income Streams with Class A RV & Boat Storage Makes Sense,” is set for Tuesday, Nov. 11, at noon as part of the event’s business innovation education track.
Industry experts will discuss market potential, investment strategies, and real-world case studies for dealerships interested in expanding profit centers.
Panelists include Greg Ellsworth, president of Self-Storage Consulting Group; Troy Bix, founder of Toy Storage Nation; and Devin Beasley, executive director of the Recreational Properties Advisors Team at Cushman & Wakefield.
They will share strategies for dealers to add storage operations alongside traditional sales and service.
“Learn about the growing RV & Boat Storage market that can provide RV Dealers a profitable passive income,” the workshop program states.
The panel will also outline steps for launching a storage business, including market analysis, financing, and property selection.
Attendees will review two case studies of established storage facilities, with panelists explaining the challenges and returns of each.
The topic aligns with broader themes of the RV Dealers Convention/Expo, which runs Nov. 10-14 at Paris Las Vegas. The annual event, organized by the RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, brings together dealership leaders from across North America.
Convention programming will feature workshops and panels on sales, fixed operations, digital strategies, and customer service. The storage session is part of the event’s effort to spotlight innovation and new business models for dealers.
In addition to education, the expo will offer opportunities for attendees to meet with suppliers and service providers, helping them strengthen business connections and explore new solutions. Networking is consistently emphasized by organizers as a core benefit of the event.
The convention is designed to give dealership personnel access to strategies and tools that can improve performance across departments.
