RV Dealers Convention to Highlight Legal Issues and Business Practices for Rental Dealers

The RV Dealers Convention/Expo, scheduled for November 11 to November 15, in Las Vegas, will highlight the challenges and opportunities in the RV rental industry. The event, sponsored by RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, will include a session focused on the legal and business aspects of RV rentals.

A session, “RVRA Meeting: Best Practices, Rental Year in Review, Legal and Insurance Updates,” is set for Thursday, November 14 at 11:30 a.m. during the convention. Led by RV Rental Association (RVRA) Chairman Scott Krenek and attorney Leslie Pujo, the workshop will provide insights for rental dealers.

Scott Krenek, who has operated Krenek RV for over 35 years, will share his experience in the RV rental market. His presentation will cover a review of the 2024 rental season and provide the five practices for improving rental operations. Krenek’s contributions to the industry include the formation of the first 20 Group dedicated to rental operations, offering dealers a platform to enhance their businesses.

Attorney Leslie Pujo, from the law firm Plave Koch, will update RVRA members on recent court cases and pending legislation impacting rental company operators. With expertise in mobility services and vehicle use law, Pujo will address compliance issues related to RV rentals, car-sharing, and other mobility platforms.

The convention offers attendees the opportunity to network with RV dealers in the industry. Dealership professionals will engage with peers, industry leaders, and potential partners at the Expo.

In addition to networking, the RVDA Convention will provide an in-depth analysis of the current sales landscape. Dealership personnel will have access to resources, workshops, and training designed to enhance performance across all departments, including sales and fixed operations.

“The convention allows North America’s top dealership personnel to forge valuable connections with peers, industry leaders, and potential business partners in the Expo. Dealership professionals can expand their network and gain insights from the best in the RV industry,” a press release explained.
