RMS Introduces Integrated Payment Solution for RV Parks and Campgrounds

RMS, a global hospitality platform serving hotels, vacation rentals, serviced apartments, and outdoor accommodations, has rolled out its integrated payment solution, RMS Pay, in the United States and Canada.

The launch extends the platform’s reach beyond Australia and Europe, where it has already been adopted by operators seeking to streamline payments and reduce financial risk.

RMS Pay has been designed to automate payment processes and strengthen revenue protection for hospitality operators.

The company reports that more than half of current RMS Pay users have seen a reduction in no-shows or chargebacks due to pre-authorization features.

In addition, 98.3% of operators using the system experience fewer than one chargeback per month.

The platform consolidates property management and payments into a single solution. By reducing reliance on multiple vendors and systems, RMS Pay gives operators a centralized view of operations, while simplifying technology management.

RMS said customers using the platform save more than five hours per week on payment and reconciliation tasks, time that can be redirected toward guest services.

Fully integrated with the RMS property management system, RMS Pay enables operators to manage the entire payment journey, from pre-arrival deposits to check-out settlements.

The system is intended for a broad range of businesses, including boutique hotels, campgrounds, RV parks, and multi-property operators, replacing manual processes and third-party tools with a cloud-based platform.

The launch comes at a time when operators across North America face challenges tied to staffing shortages and higher operating costs.

RMS Pay automates processes such as payment scheduling, reconciliation, reporting, and issuing receipts. A “Pay by Link” feature also allows operators to send secure, trackable payment requests to guests by email or SMS.

According to RMS, the solution enhances both operational efficiency and the guest experience. Guests receive more payment flexibility, while operators gain greater cash flow predictability and real-time visibility into payment status.

“RMS Pay solves one of the most persistent challenges in hospitality: fragmented payment systems that waste time and undercut profitability,” Adam Seskis, CEO at RMS, said in a press release.

“Accommodation providers are underserved when it comes to fully integrated payments tailored to hospitality, particularly for independent owner-operators who often face limited options. By embedding payments into our platform, operators can streamline day-to-day tasks, improve cash flow, and provide guests with a frictionless payment experience,” Seskis added.

Security is also a core component of the platform. RMS Pay is PCI DSS-certified and uses tokenized data storage to protect guest information.

To strengthen its payments strategy, RMS has named James MacRae as head of payments. MacRae previously held leadership positions at Visa, Sportsbet, and ANZ, where he focused on payment enablement and fintech innovation.

“He will be instrumental in strengthening RMS’s end-to-end payment capabilities, from RMS Pay to broader payment integrations, ensuring RMS continues to deliver secure, efficient and innovative solutions for the hospitality industry,” the company indicates in a press release.
