The Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) is hosting its 62nd Annual Trade Show from December 8 to December 11 at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center Poconos in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania.
The event convenes campground and RV park owners, industry suppliers, and association partners for two days of education, exhibits, and networking.
“PCOA’s annual convention is a highlight of the year for our member campgrounds. They come ready to stock up and discover what’s new for the next camping season,” the association states in an email.
The event schedule begins on December 8 with early arrivals, including the opening of the registration booth at 1 p.m.
The board meeting is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on December 8, followed by an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering early networking opportunities.
A new addition to the schedule is the 250+ PAC Reception, taking place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Exhibitor setup is designated for December 9 between 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The registration booth will open at 7:30 a.m., with staff accepting auction items and award entries at the desk.
A pesticide training block runs from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on December 9.
From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Christine Taylor of Goldberg Segalla will present “Legal Issues Facing Campgrounds.” The session includes a final-hour group document review, and attendees are instructed to bring their materials.
The trade show floor will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., providing exhibitors access to campground and RV park owners from across Pennsylvania.
Pesticide license testing for Core, Category 23, and Category 24 is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
New operators and emerging leaders are invited to the First Timers Session and Young Professionals Meeting from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., which includes a guided trade show visit with Eileen Vaughan and Charlie Vakiener.
A happy hour for exhibitors and attendees will run from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the trade show area. The association will provide two drink tickets per booth, with wine, beer, soft drinks, and a cash bar available.
The evening’s main programming closes with dinner, an opening ceremony, and an auction from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on December 9.
