Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest Camp-Resort in Harrisville unveiled a major expansion for summer and National Camping Month. This development doubles the size of the camp-resort, offering guests a variety of new amenities and accommodations.
A key highlight of the expansion is the new Water Zone, which features a 6,172-square-foot multi-level play structure with waterslides, water blasters, and a 750-gallon hydrostorm bucket. Complementing this is a 5,944-square-foot activity pool equipped with basketball hoops, providing entertainment for families. Luxury pool cabanas are also available, featuring a mini fridge, a smart TV, patio furniture, and a fan.
In addition to the water attractions, the expansion includes a new camp store, the Ranger Station, and a recreation pavilion. It also features new sports courts, playgrounds, on-site dining options, a mini golf course, and a gem mining sluice.
The variety of accommodations at Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest has also been enhanced, according to a press release. Three new cabin types, a group lodge, and additional RV sites provide more options for visitors.
General Manager Tayler Eusebio expressed enthusiasm about the new enhancements and highlighted the park’s recent award. “We were honored to receive our sixth ‘Park of the Year’ award from the Outdoor Hospitality Industry earlier this year, even before this expansion. We’re excited to see how these new features will elevate the park!” Eusebio said.
According to its website, Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest caters to many campers, offering options from basic tenting and RV sites to rental cabins and yurts. The park also features facilities for large groups, including cabins and a group camping area with a picnic pavilion, suitable for family reunions and other gatherings.
In addition to the expanded amenities, the park offers a variety of activities. Guests can enjoy laser tag, gaga ball, RC car tracks, and a bike track. The park also showcases a full schedule of arts and crafts.
Located 60 miles north of Pittsburgh, Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest is easily accessible for city residents looking for an escape to nature.
