Cedarline Outdoor, a Halmos Capital Partners portfolio company envisioning to provide quality outdoor hospitality experiences that inspire, has recently announced the acquisition of the Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA Campground in Jonestown (Pennsylvania).

According to a release, the KOA park has 86 RV sites, three cabins, and 12 tent sites. The park is the third Cedarline acquisition in the Northeast, together with its Twin Mountain and  Littleton KOA parks in New Hampshire.

The year-round Journey park is only 20 minutes away from the world-renowned Hershey Theme Park along Swatara Creek and near Interstate 81. The park features multiple RV sites, a popular restaurant, an Ice cream counter, and a general retail store. The resort also has other amenities like play areas, a jumping pad and splash pads, a mini golf course, and access to the Pennsylvania “Rail Trail” hiking path.

The campground features rustic cabins that can accommodate four people comfortably. The cabins have air conditioning, heat, a microwave, and a small, dorm-size refrigerator, a TV, and a banquette for dining and/or indoor seating. Cooking can be done on the fire ring outside. Adirondack chairs & a small table are featured on the porch.

In a press release, Andrew Cohan, Founder and Partner at Halmos, said they are excited to add the park to their portfolio, noting that it is well located for campers looking to stay overnight on a trip along the Eastern Seaboard or as the base for a Hershey vacation or to stay on-site.

“This acquisition furthers our disciplined strategy of acquiring parks which have a demonstrated history of well-executed operations and customer satisfaction. We look forward to building upon the existing legacy with select improvements identified during our due diligence process,” said Daniel Adan, Partner at Halmos.

As per its website, Cedarline thrives on providing everyone with great outdoor experiences through acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality parks throughout North America.
