OUTRBOX has launched a new line of smart package lockers designed specifically for the outdoor hospitality sector, offering a solution to the growing challenge of managing guest package deliveries at RV resorts, campgrounds, and marinas.
According to a press release, as camping and full-time RV living gain popularity, operators are increasingly faced with the logistical demands of handling high volumes of parcel deliveries.
OUTRBOX’s smart locker systems aim to streamline this process, allowing guests to retrieve packages from major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Amazon at their convenience, without staff involvement.

Guests can access the lockers 24/7, and operators may charge a small fee per reservation, contributing to a rapid return on investment. In one case study from a resort in Pearland, Texas, OUTRBOX reported a 415% ROI within the first year and a 2.5-month payback period.
Beyond package delivery, the lockers are being used to support other services. Operators can sell essential items like firewood and camping supplies around the clock, provide self-service gear rentals, and offer secure day-use storage for guests’ personal belongings.
Each locker tower includes commercial-grade components and is compatible with all major delivery services. Units are scalable and customizable, allowing them to be tailored to properties of varying size and branding needs.
