Roam America has opened 20 new cabins at Roam Tillamook in Garibaldi, Oregon, broadening its offerings to attract travelers seeking year-round stays on the Oregon Coast.
The cabins, located on Tillamook Bay, are designed for solo travelers and couples looking for a comfortable retreat with coastal views.
Each unit includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchenette, a Smart TV, and a private porch with outdoor seating and firepits.
According to a press release, Cody Fishel, director of operations for Roam America, said the cabins align with the company’s mission to “create a welcoming atmosphere where our guests can enjoy the beauty of Tillamook Bay and the authentic ambiance of the area throughout the seasons.”
Nightly rates for the cabins range from $150 to $250, with a two-night minimum stay requirement.
The rates increase during peak weekends and local events, including Garibaldi Days, which takes place July 25–27.
Garibaldi Days draws visitors for its parade, live music, local vendors, car show, beer garden, and a fireworks display over Tillamook Bay.
The festival’s proximity allows Roam Tillamook guests to participate without parking concerns.
The new cabins add to Roam Tillamook’s existing amenities, which include 198 RV sites, a renovated clubhouse with a sauna, private bath suites, an event center, and Kelley’s Place, a 21+ onsite bar and restaurant.
Guests have easy access to regional attractions such as the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, the Port of Garibaldi’s marina and seafood markets, and the Tillamook Creamery, known for its cheese tastings and exhibits.
Located about 90 minutes west of Portland, Roam Tillamook positions itself as a base for exploring nearby coastal towns including Rockaway Beach and Cannon Beach.
The investment reflects a growing trend in the outdoor hospitality sector, with operators upgrading traditional campgrounds to attract a broader range of guests seeking comfort and unique experiences.
