River Point RV Park, a 179-unit RV park being developed since May, is coming to Oregon’s Ontario city, as per a report.
The park at 225 S.E. 10th St., near the Holiday Inn Express, will be equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, and in the coming year, “the best clubhouse in the state of Oregon,” as said by Paul Hilbig of FSOne Development.
The team just completed a similar park and clubhouse in Nampa. River Point RV Park Ontario Manager Jennifer Wolcik said the Nampa branch opened just a couple of months ago and is now at 98 percent occupancy, with approximately 85 percent of people staying for a long time.
While the Ontario site isn’t yet operational, Wolcik shared that a number of reservations have been made via the website. She also said that about a dozen people have visited each day since she’s been there to inquire about available spaces.
As per Ontario Community Development Director, who has been working with developers on the particulars, the city is prepared to issue a temporary occupancy certificate when all landscaping is installed. He also said that some areas needed electricity.
The majority of the property is enclosed by vinyl fencing with gates, Hilbig shared.
The 15-acre park will have 179 sites that will be equipped with water, sewerage, and electricity, which needed “a pretty significant amount of [underground] work in a confined space.” Hilbig explained that this was done using fiber optic cables that will allow guests to enjoy “lightning-fast” internet for free and with a variety of pay levels available to those looking for more speed.
Spacious spaces with 75-foot deep stalls can hold big rigs, and the width is sufficient to allow two vehicles to be parked side-by-side behind the RV. Each space is adorned with trees, too. In addition, the spaces have artificial turf.
Other facilities at this park are two multi-purpose pickleball courts with removable posts that allow the court to be utilized for roller hockey. There is also a basketball court and two dog parks.
The 1,000-square-foot clubhouse will have numerous amenities, including an 80-inch TV, a pool table, private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a laundry area. The guests can pay with coins, debit cards, or mobile applications for the laundry equipment, all of which will be bluetooth-equipped.
Wolcik stated that the park would be open throughout the year, and there are monthly and nightly rates to choose from, with those staying for longer periods able to receive discounts.
The clubhouse will be open for business next year, where guests can expect activities and events. According to the website, the park is set to open on December 15.
