Stillwater RV Park in Bradford, Ohio, has completed a series of significant upgrades aimed at enhancing its appeal as a family-friendly destination.
The improvements, finalized following the park’s acquisition by The Freedom Group on November 1, 2023, were designed to foster a stronger sense of community and elevate the overall guest experience.
The revitalization included both structural enhancements and recreational additions. A new cabin-style office now greets visitors upon arrival, while upgraded bathhouse facilities and modernized laundry equipment streamline daily conveniences.
The addition of a new pool liner also refreshed the park’s aquatic center, and the installation of a new fishing dock adds to the site’s scenic amenities.
One of the most visible transformations is the creation of a communal outdoor space overlooking the water.
This area features new outdoor furniture and a custom-built grain bin gazebo, providing a central gathering place for families and guests to relax and connect.
Recreational options were also expanded with the installation of new pickleball and basketball courts.
“These upgrades are about more than just amenities, they’re about building a space where families and travelers feel connected, relaxed, and part of a greater community,” Alan Edmondson, chief facilities officer for Stillwater RV Park, said in a press release.
“We’re especially proud that the majority of the work was completed by local contractors and vendors, which allowed us to reinvest directly into the Bradford area,” Edmondson explained.
The enhancements reflect a broader vision by The Freedom Group to transform RV parks into welcoming destinations that serve both tourists and local residents.
Strategic tree removal was also carried out to open more usable space and improve overall safety throughout the property.
Stillwater RV Park now comprises 195 sites and is positioned as a seasonal destination for families, travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Since acquiring the park, The Freedom Group has applied its “Acquire, Improve, Manage” (A.I.M.) strategy to reimagine the guest experience.
