OHI has announced the finalists for the 2025 Awards of Excellence Park Innovators of the Year, recognizing parks across the United States that demonstrate exceptional innovation and leadership in outdoor hospitality.
According to a Linkedin post by OHI, the Awards of Excellence, which are peer-reviewed and judged, highlight standout parks that set new benchmarks in operations, guest experience, and creative development.
Winners will be revealed at the Awards of Excellence Luncheon during OHCE2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.
“These finalists are industry treasures—constantly elevating standards through innovative, forward-thinking practices,” OHI stated in its announcement. The recognition program underscores OHI’s mission to celebrate and share best practices that advance the campgrounds and RV parks.
Among the 2025 finalists are Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Akron-Canton in Uniontown, Ohio; Anvil Campground in Williamsburg, Virginia; Broad River Campground in Mooresboro, North Carolina; Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country in New Braunfels, Texas; and Camp Margaritaville Auburndale in Auburndale, Florida.
Other contenders include Chincoteague Bay RV Resort & Cottages in Chincoteague, Virginia; Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park in North Lawrence, Ohio; Coachella Lakes RV Resort in Coachella, California; Great Escapes Camping & Cabins Branson in Forsyth, Missouri; and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Glen Ellis in Glen, New Hampshire.
The list also features Jellystone Park Warrens in Warrens, Wisconsin; Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Leelanau Pines Campground in Cedar, Michigan; Lone Mountain Campground in Andover, Maine; and Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Rounding out the finalists are River’s End Campground in Tybee Island, Georgia; Serenity RV Park & Cabins in Belden, Mississippi; Splash RV Resort in Milton, Florida; Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages in Summerland Key, Florida; and Sun Outdoors Cape Charles in Cape Charles, Virginia.
Additional finalists include Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge in Sevierville, Tennessee; Watts Bar Lake Jellystone Park in Loudon; Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park RV Resort at Pine Lakes in Pittsfield, Illinois; and Zion Utah Jellystone Park in Hurricane, Utah.
Finalists represent a broad range of park types—from family-oriented destinations to upscale RV resorts—reflecting the diversity and creativity within the outdoor hospitality sector.
