The OHI Foundation has announced the recipients of its 2026 scholarships for the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality, recognizing emerging leaders and professionals dedicated to advancing the outdoor hospitality industry.
The program will be held February 22–27, 2026, at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The OHI Foundation continues its mission to invest in professional development within the outdoor hospitality sector through its annual scholarship initiative. The scholarships, made possible through member and community contributions, aim to support the next generation of campground, RV park, and glamping resort professionals.
This year’s scholarship recipients will attend the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality, a comprehensive in-person training program designed to enhance leadership and operational skills across the outdoor hospitality industry.
The weeklong event at Oglebay Resort will feature coursework focused on business management, marketing, finance, risk management, and team leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to earn designations as Outdoor Hospitality Managers (OHM) or Outdoor Hospitality Professionals (OHP).
The program honors the legacy of George O’Leary, a long-time industry leader known for his commitment to education and innovation in campground and RV park operations.
“These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of our members, colleagues, and community,” the OHI Foundation said in an announcement. “Each recipient represents the future of our community, and we’re thrilled to assist in furthering their careers.”
The following recipients were selected for the Outdoor Hospitality Manager (OHM) designation: Stephanie Bryant of Montebello Camping & Fishing Resort in Virginia; Christopher Caudle of Buck Hill Campground in North Carolina; and Travis Chenard of Douglas Forest RV Resort in Maryland.
Additional OHM recipients include Lauren Cummings of Camp Riverview in Texas; Madysen Fern of Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA in Indiana; and Madisyn Gonzales-Campos of Claremar Twin Lakes Camping Resort in Ohio.
Other honorees are Gordon Helm of Madrone Tree Hill in California; Simone Hofmann of Bourne Scenic Park in Massachusetts; and Allison Holcomb of Roberts Resorts and Communities in Texas.
The list continues with Ryan Johnson of Serenity RV Park in Mississippi; Katelynn Mendonca and Taylor Nutbrown of Normandy Farms Family Campground Resort in Massachusetts; and Dustin Palma of RiverWest Properties in Ohio.
Rounding out the OHM group are Sheila Rivers of Riverside RV & Camper Park in Alaska; Brittany Roberts and Ashley Rogers of Greensport RV Park in Alabama; Caley Sharratt of Cooperstown Beaver Valley Campground in New York; Amanda Stephenson of Harbour Village Resort in Wisconsin; and Christina Vasquez of BuzzWorthy Property Management in Texas.
Recipients of the Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) scholarships include Rob Adams of Kershaw Creek Camp & Kayak RV Resort in North Carolina; Laura Brooks of The Vista At The Lake in Arizona; Erik Brown of Seal Rocks RV in Oregon; and Morgan Denny of The Vineyards Campground & Cabins in Texas.
Additional OHP honorees are Myria Dickey of Painted Buffalo Resorts in South Dakota; Taylor Johnson of The Vineyards Campground & Cabins in Texas; Alan Kahn of Silver Lake Resort in Washington; Greg Martin of Camp Clearwater Family Campground in North Carolina; and Johanna Mason of Watts Bar Lake Jellystone Park in Tennessee.
The group is completed by Nancy McKinney of Emberglow Outdoor Resort in North Carolina and Kandy Murphy of BuzzWorthy Property Management in Texas.
