Electronic voting for the 2025 OHI Board of Directors will open September 1, giving campground operators and members of the outdoor hospitality industry an opportunity to help shape the future of the national association.
The election will remain open until September 18 at noon Eastern Time.
The vote determines who will serve on the OHI Board of Directors, which is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and long-term vision for the organization.
Participation allows members to have a direct role in guiding initiatives that impact RV parks, campgrounds, and outdoor hospitality businesses across North America.
This year’s slate of candidates includes individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, each bringing industry knowledge and operational expertise. The list reflects a balance of campground owners, consultants, and executives from hospitality organizations.
The candidates are Abigail James, manager of Mountain Lake Campground & Cabins; Alan Kahn, proprietor of Silver Lake Resort; Andrew Garcia, CEO of Outdoor Adventure Retreats LLC; and Katie McLeod, owner and operator of Quilly’s Big Fish RV Park.
Also on the ballot are Lance Pitre, owner of Lakeview Park & Beach, running for his second at-large term; Mike Harrison, chief operating officer of CRR Hospitality; Neil Staves, president of Staves Consulting and B&B Partners; and Robert Bouse, vice president of operations at Travel Resorts of America, seeking a second at-large term.
Rounding out the field are Selena Kelly-Irvin, RV park manager at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort RV Park; and Terry Munoz, consultant with Campground Consulting Group, also running for a second at-large term.
OHI confirmed that each eligible voting member has received a request to validate their designated voter. Assistance is available through the association’s website or by contacting the membership team directly.
According to OHI, campground members in good standing are eligible to participate, with each member entitled to one vote. Associates, suppliers, benefit providers, and business forum members are not eligible under the organization’s governing documents.
“Being a member of OHI means having a say in where our industry is headed, and that starts with your vote,” said Paul Bambei, president and CEO of OHI. “Take a few minutes to meet the candidates and make your voice count, we’re stronger when every campground has a representative seat at the table.”
Board service is a volunteer position but carries significant responsibilities. Members of the board provide oversight, represent their peers at industry events, and support OHI’s mission of strengthening the outdoor hospitality sector.
Founded as the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), OHI now represents more than 3,000 members across North America. The association provides education, advocacy, networking, and business tools to support private RV parks and campgrounds.
