OHI Announces Results of 2025 Board of Directors Election

OHI has announced the results of its 2025 Board of Directors election, with electronic voting closing on Sept. 18 at noon Eastern.

The election, which has already concluded, brought new and returning leadership to the national association representing the outdoor hospitality industry.

This year, 8% of eligible members participated in the vote, marking a 1% increase compared with 2024. Each active member park cast one vote for their top five candidates, following OHI’s one-park, one-vote principle.

The newly elected and re-elected board members include Robert Bouse, OHE, vice president of operations at Travel Resorts of America; Selena Kelly Irvin, OHM, RV park manager at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort RV Park; Abigail James, OHP, manager of Mountain Lake Campground & Cabins; Katie McLeod, OHP, owner and operator of Quilly’s Big Fish RV Park; and Lance Pitre, owner of Lakeview Park & Beach. Bouse and Pitre were re-elected to second terms.

“OHI is built on the strength of its members, and our board is a reflection of that,” said Paul Bambei, OHI president and CEO.

“We’re fortunate to have such dedicated professionals joining our existing group of leaders on the Board of Directors. The skills and passion on the OHI Board is instrumental in advancing our mission and supporting the entire outdoor hospitality community,” Bambei added.

The OHI Board of Directors consists of 20 members elected at-large by OHI’s voting members. The board plays a central role in guiding the organization’s priorities and ensuring the association continues to serve the needs of its membership.

Board members are responsible for defining the organization’s mission and purpose, supporting and evaluating the president and CEO.

Their work also includes oversight of organizational performance, financial accountability, and strengthening the association’s programs and services. In addition, the board is tasked with promoting OHI’s reputation, recruiting and orienting new members, and maintaining strong leadership across the association.

The board also upholds its legal and fiduciary duties, ensuring that decisions are made in accordance with OHI’s governing documents and values, while maintaining transparency and accountability to members.

The newly elected members will be officially sworn in during the OHI membership meeting at the 2025 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), scheduled for Nov. 12. The ceremony will take place as part of the association’s annual industry gathering.

The OHCE serves as a key event for OHI, bringing together private RV park and campground operators, suppliers, and industry leaders for education, networking, and business development.
