The Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), hosted by OHI, is preparing to welcome RV park and campground owners, operators, and industry professionals to Louisville, Ky., this November for three days of education, networking, and business development.
The event, which officially begins on Monday, November 10, will feature a full agenda of breakout sessions, Expo Hall experiences, and evening receptions designed to provide both actionable insights and opportunities to connect with peers and partners.
Organizers say the 2025 conference builds on OHI’s mission to deliver tools and strategies that support the growth of the outdoor hospitality sector. The programming covers operational challenges, regulatory compliance, and emerging opportunities that directly affect park businesses.
“No matter what your race looks like, you’re not running it alone. We’re all in this big race to greatness together, and that’s what this year’s OHCE will focus on,” David Basler said.
“In Louisville, the home of the Kentucky Derby, we’re embracing the spirit of momentum, possibility, and purpose. This is your Race to Greatness—and OHCE is where you take it to the next level,” Basler added.
OHI recommends that attendees arrive on Sunday, November 9, to take advantage of early registration and a welcome dinner. The evening will provide an opportunity to network, meet colleagues, and explore Louisville before the official programming begins.
Once underway, the event will launch into general sessions and breakouts addressing the most pressing issues facing outdoor hospitality operators.
Topics include wastewater management, environmental compliance, marketing innovation, and strategies for diversifying revenue streams.
Session leaders will include subject-matter experts and experienced park operators. The focus will be on practical application, with sessions designed to provide insights attendees can implement directly at their businesses.
Networking will remain a central element of OHCE, with opportunities built into the agenda. Coffee Conversations, peer-led Campfire Sessions, and evening receptions will provide settings for open dialogue and knowledge sharing among peers.
The Expo Hall will serve as another major draw, with companies from across the industry showcasing products and services. Attendees will be able to connect with vendors, test new technologies, and evaluate potential partnerships that could support their operations.
Innovation will also play a key role. Exhibitors are expected to present tools designed to improve guest experiences, streamline operations, and enhance profitability for campgrounds and RV parks.
For OHI, the conference represents more than an annual gathering. As the only national association dedicated to the private outdoor hospitality sector, it serves more than 3,000 members across North America by providing advocacy, education, and exclusive member benefits.
OHCE is widely recognized as the association’s flagship event, drawing professionals from across the country. The Louisville location ties in with this year’s “Race to Greatness” theme, inspired by the city’s connection to the Kentucky Derby.
