Northgate Resorts is marking a milestone year in outdoor hospitality, earning major national recognition from both the OHI Awards and the Camp Jellystone Annual Awards Ceremony.
The company, known for its management of leading camping and glamping destinations nationwide, received top honors that underscore its innovation, leadership, and excellence across multiple properties.
At the OHI Awards, a national benchmark for excellence in camping and outdoor lodging, Northgate Resorts captured three Innovator of the Year awards and several finalist designations.
Northgate’s Leelanau Pines Campground received the Innovator of the Year award in the Medium Park category, while Jellystone Park Glen Ellis earned the same recognition among large parks. Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country took home the award for Mega Park Innovator of the Year.
Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park was also recognized as an Innovator of the Year finalist, with Northgate Resorts itself named a finalist for Outdoor Industry Leadership.

Adding to its accolades, Northgate Resorts also took home 36 honors at the Camp Jellystone Annual Awards Ceremony held, including the highest distinction of Jellystone Park Camp-Resort of the Year.
Jellystone Park Harrisville earned the Camp-Resort of the Year title, along with Top Performer and Facility Enhancement awards. Jellystone Park Lakes Region also received Top Performer and Facility Enhancement awards, highlighting the consistent quality and performance across Northgate-managed parks.
“Earning thirty-six awards across so many Jellystone categories, while also being celebrated by OHI, reflects the hard work, creativity, and passion our resort teams bring to each guest experience,” McCrackin said.
She added that the recognitions affirm Northgate’s focus on delivering memorable outdoor experiences across its diverse portfolio, which includes Jellystone Parks, Camp Fimfo, and independent campground brands.
