Nicole Townsend has been promoted to director of operations at Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS), the company announced June 18. The promotion marks a key leadership appointment as BBDS continues expanding its operations and strengthening its infrastructure.
Townsend, who joined BBDS in 2018, brings more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry.
Her background spans a wide range of roles, equipping her with a broad understanding of operational and business functions within the dealership environment.
“Maintaining an effective and reliable infrastructure will be more critical than ever as Brown & Brown Dealer Services continues to grow,” Mike Neal, president of BBDS, said in a press release.
“No one knows more about the systems and processes essential to the F&I business than Nicole. Her proven results, depth of knowledge and years of valuable experience will help us further develop our competitive edge,” Neal added.
Townsend began her automotive career at a young age, steadily advancing through positions that built her operational expertise. In her new role, she will lead the ongoing development of systems and business processes aimed at enhancing internal performance and customer service.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the streamlining and development of business operations for BBDS and to collaborate with our exceptional team,” Townsend said.
“We will continue prioritizing delivering innovative solutions that help our teammates and customers achieve their goals,” Townsend added.
