Six Flags Great Adventure is reintroducing its luxury glamping experience at Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa, with reservations now open for the 2025 season.
Situated within the 350-acre Six Flags Wild Safari in Jackson, New Jersey, the resort provides high-end accommodations alongside exclusive access to the park’s attractions.
The resort, which first launched last year as part of Six Flags’ 50th-anniversary enhancements, offers a blend of upscale amenities and immersive wildlife experiences.
Guests staying at the resort will have access to private suites featuring modern comforts, as well as outdoor entertainment areas, fire pits, a restaurant and bar, spa services, and event spaces.
The resort’s season runs daily from May 2 to November 2, with additional booking windows in April and November, according to a report by NJBIZ.
Ryan Eldredge, the resort’s public relations manager, emphasized the unique experience the property provides, stating:
“We’re thrilled to open our doors for the season … and look forward to welcoming guests to experience the beauty and tranquility of Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa. Our combination of luxury accommodations, immersive wildlife encounters, and seasonal events offers an experience unlike any other.”
For business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, the continued operation of Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa highlights the growing appeal of glamping within established entertainment venues.
By integrating luxury accommodations with theme park access, Six Flags is tapping into a lucrative market of travelers seeking experiential stays.
The property’s pricing model, which starts at $1,025 for a two-night minimum, suggests strong demand for high-end, experience-driven lodging options.
Additionally, its package offerings—such as behind-the-scenes tours and VIP animal encounters—demonstrate the potential for revenue diversification through exclusive, premium experiences.
The broader outdoor hospitality industry can take note of Six Flags’ approach to blending entertainment, wildlife, and upscale lodging to enhance guest engagement and extend visitor stays.
As the trend of experiential travel continues to evolve, similar ventures could present opportunities for operators looking to expand their offerings beyond traditional accommodations.
Six Flags Great Adventure and Wild Safari will open for the season on March 29, while Hurricane Harbor is scheduled to welcome guests starting May 17.
Alongside the return of its glamping experience, the park will introduce a new ride, The Flash: Vertical Velocity, and a lineup of seasonal festivals and events.
