The New Jersey Campground Owners and Outdoor Lodging Association (NJCOA) has announced the roll-out of its “NJ Camping Pass” coupon booklet for 2023-2024.

Providing a plethora of alluring offers, this much-anticipated booklet serves as a springboard for prospective campers to explore the Garden State’s unique outdoors, while simultaneously offering private campground owners a golden opportunity to boost their businesses.

The coupon booklets, retailing at $20.00, with an additional shipping and handling charge of $2.50, are packed with deals.

Featuring discounts and value-added incentives for camping at 29 independently operated campgrounds spread across the state, this booklet not only offers affordable leisure for the campers but also serves as a magnet to attract more visitors to the private campgrounds.

Joann DelVescio, the executive director of NJCOA, outlined the diversity of offers packed in the booklet.

“Campgrounds in the booklet have offers ranging from packages with free kayaking and firewood to discounted stays, BOGO (buy one, get one), and free camping nights.”

The coupons are redeemable through December 31, 2024, or the participating park’s 2024 closing date, offering ample time for campers to plan their visits.

The association also tied up with select RV dealers in New Jersey

“We have several RV dealers who will include a coupon book in your packet when you buy a new camper or RV from them,” DelVescio said.

“Pairing coupons with the new RV is our way to thank people for their purchase and introduce new owners to the wonderful camping options we have right here in New Jersey.”

This innovative collaboration aids in augmenting the camping culture in the state, as RV dealers like Driftwood RV Center in Cape May Court House, White Horse RV Center in Williamstown and Galloway, and Campers Inn RV in Toms River, pitch in by providing complimentary coupon books with RV purchases.

This dual advantage initiative promises to increase the influx of customers to these private campgrounds, thus potentially enhancing revenue and promoting local tourism.

Such collaborative initiatives reflect the active role played by NJCOA in bolstering the growth of independently operated campgrounds since its inception in 1963.

The “NJ Camping Pass” coupon booklet underscores the association’s commitment to promoting New Jersey as an attractive camping destination while providing a boost to private campground owners and operators throughout the state.

The initiative embodies a synergy between leisure and business, forging a path that ensures the sustained growth of New Jersey’s vibrant outdoor lodging industry.
