Workshop to Highlight Customer-Centered F&I Strategies at 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo

Paul Sheldon, national director of specialty products for Spectrum Automotive Agency Division, will lead a workshop on creating customer-first finance and insurance (F&I) models during the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

The session, titled “Create and Maintain a Customer-Focused Dealership Culture Through F&I,” will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. on November 13 as part of the event’s business innovation track.

The annual convention will be held November 10-14, 2025, at Paris Las Vegas.

Organized by the RV Dealers Association (RVDA), RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, the event will bring together North American dealership professionals to exchange insights and strengthen dealership operations.

According to the release, Sheldon will discuss how an effective F&I approach can serve as both a profit center during challenging economic conditions and a foundation for customer loyalty.

His workshop will outline strategies for mapping customers’ journeys through the buying process and collaborating with sales teams to tailor financing presentations.

Attendees will also explore how to engage the entire dealership staff in supporting a customer-centric culture.

The session aims to help RV dealers enhance both short-term sales and long-term customer retention by guiding buyers through their financing options rather than emphasizing product sales.

Per the release, the session will provide insights into how to successfully guide a customer through their finance and insurance options as opposed to trying to sell them, further enhancing their experience and peace of mind.

The convention’s business innovation track will include sessions designed to help dealership personnel strengthen operations across sales, service, and fixed operations.

Organizers said the program offers attendees access to tools and resources for improving dealership performance amid ongoing shifts in consumer expectations and economic pressures.

For RV dealers, Sheldon’s workshop will highlight actionable strategies to enhance the customer experience while improving profitability in the F&I department.

With dealership culture playing a key role in buyer satisfaction and repeat business, the session is positioned to provide relevant takeaways for finance managers and sales leaders alike.
