According to a report, Three Forks Market (Montana) unveiled 20 new sites at their RV Park earlier this summer.
As per owner Rick Lamb, the 20 sites have a new building equipped with showers and bathrooms, making it a fully self-contained campground. The new sites also come with new landscaping, gravel, and fencing.
“It really turned out nice,” Lamb said.
With 29 sites at the park, Lamb has high hopes for what this new addition will bring to the Three Forks.
“It’s going to be a great thing for the community, and it’s going to help every business in town. People are going to walk downtown and enjoy the businesses, from the donut shop to the bars and cafes, along with the gym, hardware store, and Conoco.”
Owners Rick and Val Lamb have also added an online site for reservations through Campspot.
Since going online with new sites in a short time, Rick feels it’s been a lot easier after running the previous nine spots on pen and paper. Lamb said they’d include the original nine spots into the online reservation system in the spring.
“It’s going to make things a lot easier,” he said.
When he first started the RV Park, Lamb said many people would have believed that they were crazy for doing that, yet the shop was receiving calls almost every day in the summertime from people seeking an area to camp in town.
Lamb says they’ve always been able to fill nine sites during summer, with most of them being booked monthly. Lamb added that a large portion of those who are staying are retired, and they are receiving positive feedback from both the new and old sites.
“A lot of people say how beautiful it is and that it’s one of the nicest campgrounds they have stayed at. We like to keep it clean, to get the weeds mowed and the grass trimmed up. We try our best,” he said.
According to its website, Three Forks Market is a full-service grocery store and RV Park offering deli, meat, and produce.
The RV park has full RV hookups and 29 pull-through parking sites with water, sewer, electric, and trash.
