The Jenkins Organization Acquires Branson Jellystone Park, to Double Campground’s Sites and Amenities

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort Branson in Forsyth, Missouri is now under the ownership of The Jenkins Organization (TJO), marking the company’s second acquisition this year.

“We are delighted to add this beautiful Jellystone Park to our portfolio, expand it, and provide even more opportunities for campers to enjoy the great outdoors and these outstanding amenities,” Ricky Jenkins, president of The Jenkins Organization of Houston, Texas, said in a press release.

TJO also plans to improve the property by adding 140 campsites, 30 cabins, a resort-style pool, a Wibit pond with water slides, Water Wars, golf cart rentals, and more exciting additions. The family-friendly park currently features a swimming pool, The Jump Pad, foam parties, gem mining, bike and pedal kart rentals, and a potato launch.

“The park will continue to offer what Jellystone Parks are famous for, which is providing fun, family activities and theme weekends that include everything from crafts and games to wagon rides,” the company mentioned in the press release.

The property is the 13th RV resort addition to the Great Escapes RV Resorts brand since its creation in 2019.

The Jenkins Organization, Inc. is a Houston-based real estate investment and development firm specializing in the RV resort and self-storage industries. The firm currently has an ownership portfolio of over 30 properties, with a market value of over $500 million.
